BIOGRAPHY
Sabrina Gassner is an Austrian contemporary artist
based in Dubai.
Working under the name sasarina.art,
she creates mixed-media works on canvas, primarily combining acrylic paint, spray paint and pastels.
With a strong interest in colour, movement and material, her works often move between recognisable forms and abstraction.
Her background in fashion, graphic design
and visual communication continues to influence her artistic approach.
Sabrina’s work has been shown internationally.
Her recent exhibitions include shows in Zurich, Switzer-land and Turin, Italy and most recently, in Dubai, UAE.
ARTIST STATEMENT
I create mixed-media paintings that move between recognisable forms and abstraction.
Working with acrylics, spray paint and pastel, I build images through layers of colour, texture and intuitive gestures.
My work is driven by curiosity rather
than fixed concepts, allowing forms to emerge naturally while leaving space for imagination.
